Drug test for pharmacy technician license

I failed a drug test before applying for my Pharm tech license. Will this prevent me from getting it?

When you say License, that leads me to think that you're asking about your State Certification. In which case, it would be dependent on what state you live in and who issued the drug test.

Are you instead asking about PTCB Certification? If so, then the answer is no. The PTCB does not do drug testing as part of the certification screening.

Either way, most employers will require pre-employment and random drug tests.
