Time-frame to take the PTCB exam

Is there a time frame allocated from the time I register to take the pharm tech exam? Or, do I have to take it right away?

According to the PTCB website, the Authorization Period is 90 days.

You'll first receive your Authorization to Test Letter. That will indicate the 90-day period during which you can schedule and take the PTCB Exam. If you are not able to take the exam during that period, you must withdraw your application to avoid forfeiting your exam fees.

So, Basically you'll have a 90 Day window.
